AI agents for a small business, sized for one owner.

When the owner does everything, the recurring work wins by default: the follow-ups, the quotes, the bookkeeping prep, the messages waiting for a reply. AgentPraetorian builds a small set of agents around the jobs that cost you the most time, runs them from your phone, and has them ask before they do anything on your behalf.

What it does

Good first jobs to hand off

I

Follow-up that happens

Leads and customers who went quiet get a drafted follow-up for you to approve, instead of being forgotten.

II

Quotes and paperwork prepared

The first draft of a quote, an estimate or a form, assembled from what you already have.

III

Your week at a glance

A short brief each morning: what is due, who is waiting on you, and what changed.

IV

Messages answered

Replies to customers and reviews drafted in your voice, for you to approve before they go out.

How it's built

The controls come with it

Agents that work while you are elsewhere need the same things any serious system needs. These are part of every build, not options.

You approve before it acts

Anything that sends, pays, publishes or commits pauses for an approval. Approvals are authenticated, single use and they expire. A pause is never treated as consent.

In the tools you already use

The agents reach you where you already work, such as a messaging app on your phone, instead of one more dashboard to log into.

Cost ceilings, set in advance

Every task runs under a budget for model calls, tokens and time, reserved before the work starts. A ceiling, not a hope.

Where the pattern comes from

A system Hyams Digital Solutions built and runs

AgentPraetorian is the offer. The pattern behind it comes from systems like this one.

HDS reference build

An owner-operated CRE practice

Owner-operated CRE practice. Built and run by HDS.

  • A nine-agent fleet running market intelligence and daily briefings on a schedule, not on request
  • Telegram as the entire operator interface, so the practice runs from a phone
  • An automated market-briefing pipeline feeding a published newsletter

The practice runs without a dashboard. Market briefings arrive before the day starts, pipeline and follow-up live in one system of record, and the agent fleet does the research a junior analyst would otherwise be hired for. This is the reference build for the pattern we sell: agents doing standing work, and a messaging app instead of a UI.

Questions

Questions worth asking first

Is this realistic for a small business?

It is scoped to the work. A small business needs a small set of agents, not a fleet, and the quote reflects that. If a job is too small to be worth building, we will say so.

Do I need technical staff?

No. We build it, run it and maintain it. You talk to it from your phone and approve what it prepares.

I already use an AI chat tool. Why this?

Keep it. A chat tool answers when you ask; agents do the recurring work on a schedule without being asked. The two work well side by side.

Tell us the job you would hand off first.

We will tell you whether an agent can do it well, and what building it would involve. If it is not worth building, you will hear that too.
